Deptford

The full text of the Society's letter to Lewisham Council in response to the proposed Hutchison Whampoa development at Convoys Wharf can be downloaded here. A summary of this, together with a detailed account of a recent site visit, is contained in the winter 2011 issue of Dockyards, the society newsletter. We are also pleased to be able to host some of the photographs taken by Malcolm Tucker during that visit - see the photo gallery below. Click on the individual pictures to see them in more detail and read Malcolm's descriptive captions.

The society has also organised a tour of the excavated dockyard area to follow our AGM and lecture on 17 March 2012. Booking forms for this are being sent out with Dockyards but can also be downloaded here.
