NDS Twelfth Annual Conference: Surgeons & the Royal Navy, Saturday 18 October 2008
2008 marks 800 years of organised surgery in Britain. The Naval Dockyards Society, the Royal College of Surgeons and the Worshipful Company of Barbers will hold a conference at the Royal College of Surgeons to mark connections between surgeons and the Royal Navy. A sandwich lunch and teas/coffees are included in the price of £25.00 as NDS/RCS/Barbers’ Company member/OAP/student or £35.00 as a non-member/student/OAP. A display from the RCS Library will be open at lunchtime. The Conference Papers will be published in our Transactions.

Under the patronage of UNESCO, the Third International Congress on Underwater Archaeology (IKUWA3), will be held in London this coming July (10th-12th)
