Society News

The latest edition of Dockyards, the Society's newsletter, due to go to members during June 2008, will contain:

- Report on the NDS tours of Deptford and Rochefort

- Articles on Pembroke Dock, Bermuda, the Froude ship testing tanks and the Portsmouth bid for World Heritage status.

- Regular features including 'Brought to the Attention of the Board', a series of discoveries from the ongoing work of cataloguing the Navy Board papers at the National Archives, Kew, and the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.

- Book reviews.
